— What was the M-lle Huret’s fate?
She got the patent for her dolls in 1850, and worked hard to improve the her dolls. After becoming very reach, she sold her business. She died in 1904 at the age of ninety. She neither was married, nor had children… Today her dolls survived only in a few museums and private collections. Their prices are in a range between fifteen and one hundred thousands of dollars (2009).

Today we are publishing the first part of our interview with Mr. Francois Themer.
I met Francois Theimer in the Parisian hotel Ambassador. It wasn’t just an occasion, because here he conducts his famous auctions on selling ancient dolls that is being attended by collectors of the whole world. Francois kindly agreed to give me a small in interview for my doll blog.
