24" (61 cm.) Antique German Bisque Child doll, 1078, with Brown Complexion by Simon&Halbig.

This unusual Black version of a 1078 child doll was made by the Simon & Halbig doll factory, circa 1900.
Bisque socket head,brown glass sleep eyes,dark painted lashes,thick black brush-stroked brows with decorative glaze, accented eye corners and nostrils, open mouth, ccented lips, four porcelain teeth, dimpled chin, pierced ears, black fleecy wig, brown composition and wooden ball-jointed body, antique original stripped cotton dress, undergarments, original shoes, silk red bow ion the head.
Good condition, only short hairline at the back of the head (please look photo). The body in excellent condition, with original painting.
