Jumeau closed mouth size 11, 24 inches or 60 cm.
Bisque socket head,deep blue glass paperweight inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, rose blushed eye shadow, widely arched brush-stroked brows, shaded nostrils, closed mouth with outlined and shaded lips, pierced ears, human hair over cork pate, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body.

Condition: generally excellent.
There is the tiniest factory bubble on the left cheek, it is very hard to see. I made special picture under strong light, please look the last photo.

Marks: 11 (and and check artist mark at back of head).

Emile Jumeau,circa 1890,his Bebe Reclame model,created for Paris department store orders; the untinted white block indicated the spot where department stores could place their own label, promoting the doll as their own store brand.

An especially pretty example of Bebe Reclame,having soft creamy bisque,original Jumeau body with fine original finish.

The doll wearing very beautiful original lace dress and wire framed hat with wax flowers, antique underwear, white leather shoes.
