Navy Blue Wool Serge Sailor Dress and Jacket for doll 18-19"

Wonderful original French Sailor dress has sleeveless cotton bodice (designed to be hidden under jacket) has inset plastron of light-blue cotton with three bands of white middy braid, pleated skirt, hook and eye closure. Matching jacket has long godet sleeves with tucking detail, fitted cuffs, blue sailor collar with three bands of braid trim, brass buttons, full cotton sateen lining. Later 19th C.
Measures 4.5" shoulders, 5.5" sleeve, 6" length of jacket, 10 and 1/4" length of the dress.
