6" Very Rare French Mignonette Doll with Jointed Elbows and Bare Feet

5.5" (14 cm). Bisque swivel head with very pale complexion,on kid-edged bisque torso,cobalt blue glass enamel inset eyes, painted lashes and brows, closed mouth, human wig in waist- length braids, bare feet, bisque arms with wood ball-and-socket joints, bisque legs. The doll wearing her original pantaloon, aqua silk dress and straw hat.
Generally excellent condition.
Comments: Circa 1878,the jointed-elbow mignonette was deposed by Sustrac in 1877,and also by Schmitt et Fils. Very rare model of mignonette is enhanced further by exquisite beauty and painting,bare feet,with antique aqua silk dress.
