12" (30 cm.) German bisque child, 167, by Kestner with original signed body and wig
Bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes, painted features, open mouth, four porcelain teeth, blonde mohair wig, plaster pate, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, nicely costumed in blue woolen sailor suit. Marks: a 1/2 made in Germany 4 1/2 167 (head) Germany (red stamp on body). Excellent condition, original body and body finish. Kestner, circa 1900, a companion to the following lot.
