Wonderful all original costumed pair of bisque head dolls with articulated wooden body by Jumeau, depicting an adult lady and gentleman perhaps "Le Comte et Somtesse " in all original condition.
Each around 10 1/2" ( 27 cm ). Both dolls has original white mohair wig in original hair styling and Btu type fully jointed wooden body.

Each doll are all original wearing of couture costume and leather glowers, Monsieur has a fantastic silk velvet suit with silk vest , cocked hat, silk stocking and leather boots with heels and Lady doll wearing a superb costume of finest blue and pink silk dress, silk stocking, original cotton underwear, leather shoes.

Both costumes are complete hand sewn and complete the elegant appearance of the two dolls.

Made in France and together in generally excellent condition to age.

Marks: 2 (head and shoulders) and artist check marks.
