Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate,cobalt blue glass enamel eyes,dark eyeliner,delicately painted lashes and brows,accented nostrils and eye corners,closed mouth with outlined lips and hint of smile,defined chin,ears pierced into head,blonde mohair wig over cork pate,all wooden Bru body with dowel-jointed articulation at shoulders,elbows and wrists,hip,knees and ankles,and ball-swivel at waist,separately carved fingers and defined toes.
The doll wearing her original cream silk satin wedding dress with bustle and long train, rouched sleeves, skirt and trim, lace and artificial flower trim with pearl button up the back, cotton chemise, petticoat, drawers, socks, size 2 white kid slippers and bouquet of artificial flowers.

Condition: generally excellent. Her bisque free of hairline, restpration, any damages, the wooden body in good condition (missing tips of fingers and thumb on one hand, some wear to body).

Leon Casimir Bru,circa 1867,the articulated body model was deposed in 1867,based upon early artist mannequin body styles and construction. The head made by Maison Barrois for Bru.
