German Bisque Doll in Original Costume by KLING

12" (31 cm.) She has bisque shoulderhead with solid dome,blue glass inset eyes,painted lashes and brows,accented nostrils and eye corners,closed mouth with downcast pouty-shaped lips,muslin body with bisque hands.
The doll wear her original traditional bridal costume of Northen Europe, comprising long-sleeved white cotton blouse, red wool vest with gold thread and silk cording edging, richly-embroidered bodice front, white apron with lace edging, red wool cap with glass beads.

Condition: generally excellent.
Marks: Germany 167 (bell symbol) 2/0. Kling,circa 1890.
