Bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes, painted features, open mouth, four porcelain upper teeth, original French composition body, wearing lovely original unusual costume American Girl. This is rare historical piece of an US-French Alliance, 1919-1920. The doll has american flag and black ribbon with gold note AMERICAN GIRL on her skirt and two flags (US and France) at the front.. Original undergarments, socks, shoes, human hair wig and pate. Excellent condition, original body and body finish. Marks: SFBJ 60 Paris 8/0. France, circa 1919, an especially pretty child with beautiful costume.
