Wonderful and rare cabinete size early fashion doll. Circa 1865.

Pale bisque shoulder head with plump facial features, cobalt blue glass eyes, black eyeliner, painted lashes, lightly feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with accented lips, unpierced ears, blonde lambswool wig, cork pate, muslin stitch-jointed body, bisque arms to above the elbows. Condition: generally excellent.
Appealing petite size, the childlike poupee wears antique gown, undergarments, sewn-on silk shoes to match costume.
