Bisque shoulderhead with pale complexion, brilliant cobalt blue glass inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with center accent line, unpierced ears, brunette mohair wig over cork pate, softly-stuffed kid body with shapely torso, kid-over wooden upper arms, porcelain arms to above the elbows, gusset-jointing at hips, wooden ball-jointing at knees, torso pull string designed to attach to knee joints allowing the doll to hold a seated pose. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Mme Rohmer Brevete SGDG Paris (oval stamp on torso). Comments: Leontine Rohmer, circa 1865.
