14" (35 cm) Very Rare French Fashion Bisque Doll with Sculpted Hair

Bisque shoulder head with plumply-modeled cheeks and chin, sculpted hair in very well defined short curls, painted blue upper glancing eyes in well-defined eye sockets, dark eyeliner, painted all-around lashes,feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners,closed mouth with accented lips,fully-sculpted ears, kid poupee body with mitten hands.

Condition: generally excellent. Her leather body is in very good condition Her bisque is gorgeous without hairlines or repairs.
She is with original underwear, woolen red dress and hat.

Marked on the back F. 2 G.

Francois Gaultier presented a small series of the painted eye poupee with all-around painted lashes,circa 1860.
Very rare model with superlative sculpting and painting.
