Bisque socket head,large blue glass paperweight inset eyes,thick dark eye liner,dark painted lashes,widely arched brush-stroked and multi-feathered brows,accented eye corners,shaded nostrils of uniquely upturned nose,closed mouth with primly shaped accented lips,pierced ears,mohair over cork pate,French composition and wooden fully-jointed body, antique silk dress, underwear, socks and leather shoes.
Rare rare bebe with beautiful expression ,very fine quality of luminous bisque, original body.

Condition: generally excellent. Her bisque free of hairline, restoration, any damages. Original body finish, the torso probably has been repainted.

Marks: B. 5 F. (and artist checkmarks).
Bebe Francais, by Emile Jumeau, circa 1890, the rare model was created by Jumeau after winning his lawsuit against Danel et Cie, and is virtually identical to Jumeau dolls 225 model from the firm's 200 character series.
