German Bisque Doll in original costume,123 Model, by Kling
The doll has cloth gusset-jointed body, bisque forearms, nicely costumed in antique costume of Papal Swiss guard in Vatican. The Papal Swiss Guard now in the Vatican City State was founded in 1506 and is the only Swiss Guard that still exists.
The doll has his original leather shoes.
Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 123-2. Kling,circa 1885,size 2.
