14" (35 cm) Antique French Fashion Jumeau Doll

Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate, dramatically deep blue glass paperweight inset eyes, painted features, feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with outlined lips, pierced ears, rare original auburn mohair wig over cork pate, French shapely-kid poupee body with stitched and separated fingers, body is especially firm and clean.

Original dress, underwear, socks and hat. No shoes. Condition is generally excellent (excepting small damage on her left wrist). Bisque has not any hairlines, spots, damages etc.

Her head has an artist checkmarks. Jumeau Medaille d'Or Paris (body). Emile Jumeau, circa 1880.
