17" Rare French Fashion Parisienne Gaultier Doll with articulation Gesland Body - fully Original, C.1875!

Very beautiful french doll has bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate, choice bisque, large enamel inset eyes with darker outer rims, dark eyeliner, painted dark lashes, feathered brows, accented eye corners, shaded nostrils, closed mouth with accented lips, pierced ears with an original earrings, original blonde mohair wig over cork pate, padded stockinette over metal armature body to allow infinite articulation, bisque hands, lower legs and feet. Gaultier with deposed Gesland body from the original Pannier design, exquisitely-sculpted bisque hands and feet on the rare-bodied doll. She is wearing wonderful original ivory satin gown with lavish lace and silk trim, multi-layered matching undergarments with generous lace, ivory silk stockings, ivory kidskin shoes. All-all original!

The doll in excellent condition, circa 1875. She is 17" (43 cm) tall.
