Pale bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate, blue glass inset eyes, dark eyeliner, delicately painted lashes and brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with pale accented lips, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, French leather body with dowel-jointing at shoulders, elbows, bisque forearms with cupped fingers, lovely full original stripped gown, straw hat, antique underwear, original straw and silk bonnet, vintage leather heeled boots.
Wonderful and rare poupee with original gown, exquisitely sculpted bisque hands, very beautiful face whose pale bisque is dramatized by brilliant blue eyes.

Condition: generally excellent.

Marks: Au Passage Delorme/Rue de Rivoli ,Simonne Paris... (stamp on torso). Comments: the poupee was presented by the prestigious Maison Simonne, circa 1865.
