18" (44 cm) Very Beautiful French Fashion Bisque Poupee Doll with Blue Eyes, Bisque Arms, Original Costume, c.1865

Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate, blue glass enamel inset eyes,dark eyeliner,feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with center accent line, ears pierced into head, original blonde mohair wig over cork pate, very firmly stuffed poupee body with shapely waist, gusset jointing at hips, bisque arms, sculpted fingers and thumb. Condition: generally excellent, her bisque free of hairline, restoration or any damages, body especially sturdy and fresh.
Superbly preserved poupee with lovely bisque,rare bisque arms and hands,and wearing fine original costume of musline, antique original undergarments (the skirt with tiny pink embroidered letters), leather-heeled shoes in the Huret manner, silsk headdress and turquoise necklace.
