Early fashion doll with very rare neck articulation system has pale bisque swivel head with flat-cut neck socket on bisque shoulderplate, deposed locking devise allowing the head to turn realistically only side-to-side (rather than complete swivel), a very beautiful face whose pale bisque is dramatized by brilliant cobalt blue inset eyes with dreamily-shaped heavy eyelids, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, arched feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with outlined lips, un-pierced ears, original awesome wig with flowers over cork pate, kid poupee body with gusset-jointing at hips and knees, exquisitely sculpted bisque arms to above the elbows, cupped fingers with defined nails.

She is wearing beautiful original ivory woolen costume with black velvet ribbons, undergarments, heeled boots. Her original black parasol with ivory handle is including (One spoke of the umbrella is damaged, but the cover i n good condition).

Marks: Au Passage Delorme 13/Rue de Rivoli 188, SIMONNE Paris(stamp on torso).

The poupee was presented by the prestigious Maison Simonne, circa 1865.

Condition: generally excellent. Her bisque free of hairline, restoration or any damages, original body in good condition. The skirt has small mole holes because age.
