Early French Bebe, Incised Depose Mark, Emile Jumeau, Jumeau Shoes! She has an early pressed bisque socket head on a fully jointed and signed Jumeau body, brown glass paperweight inset eyes, painted lashes, dark eyeliner, brushstroked brows, rose-blushed eye shadow, accented eye corners and nostrils, closed mouth with outlined lips, separately-modeled pierced ears, human hair over cork pate, French composition and wooden eight loose-ball-jointed body with straight wrists.
Rare model by Jumeau with endearing expression, original body and body finish, wearing lovely antique original mariner costume, undergarments, original blue straw hat, antique leather boots incised L.P., original brown socks.

Condition: generally excellent. Her bisque free of hairline, restoration or any damages.
The body has original finish, painting on the hands a little bit worn.

Marks: Depose 8 (incised, and artist checkmarks) Jumeau Medaille d'Or Paris (body). Emile Jumeau, circa 1884.
