Bisque socket head,blue glass inset eyes,dark upper eyeliner, painted lashes, feathered brows,accented nostrils and eye corners,open/closed mouth with center accent line,original wooden and excelsior body with sewn-on jester silk costume,defined front and back humps, papier-mache lower legs and hands, mohair wig. He is wearing original silk Polichinelle costume lace cuffs and large jabot ,pink
glued-on original silk slippers and matching jester cap.
Polichinelle dolls was very popular in France in 1880-1900 and there are used for the luxury French trade.

Condition: generally excellent. Some wears of the fabric because age.
