22" (56 cm.) German Bisque "Gibson Girl" by Kestner with beaded dress

Bisque shoulder head of adult lady with uptilted face and elongated strong throat,blue glass eyes,heavy eyelids,aquiline nose with accented nostrils,closed mouth with center accent line,human hair wig in upswept fashion over plaster pate, slender kid body ,pin-jointing at elbows,hips and knees,bisque forearms.
Condition: her bisque head and hands in excellent condition, free of hairline, damages, restoration etc.
The body in good condition, only small loss of sawdust in the knees.
Marks on the head and back: 172 7 Made Germany.
Kestner,circa 1910, their model designed by American illustrator Charles Dana Gibson.
Wonderful sophisicated society lady is a perfect model of the Gibson illustrations,has original body,and wears lovely gown.
