French circa 1890, finely painted lashes, shaded lids and feather brows, open mouth with upper teeth, and pierced ears, later blonde wig and on a fully jointed wood and composition body, wearing ivory silk Russian style costume with pantaloons, jacket, hat with red tassel, and ornately decorated boots and holding his metal sword, V 13 G, 26” (66cm) tall, this doll is seldom found on the market, (condition: head perfect, two tiny wig pulls to forehead, some repair to hands and toe to right foot).
