Very beautiful larger model of the classic poupee model by the father Gaultier enhanced by lovely antique costume, choice pale bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate, pale blue glass enamel inset eyes with darker blue outer rims, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, arched feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with shaded and accented lips, pierced ears, brunette mohair wig over cork pate, kid fashion body with shapely torso, gusset-jointing at elbows, hips and knees, stitched and separated fingers and toes, Very lovely antique gown.
Condition: generally excellent.
Marks: 6 (head and shoulderplate) F.G. (shoulderplate). Comments: Francois Gaultier,circa 1875.
