Bisque socket head, brown glass inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, rose blushed eye shadow, arched feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with outlined lips, pierced ears, human hair wig over cork pate, original French composition and wooden fully-jointed early body with straight wrists, nicely costume.
Very beautiful painting of complexion with subtle blush on eyelids, chin and cheeks.
Condition: generally excellent.
Sonneberg, circa 1885, the mystery maker bebe was designed to compete with French bebes which it closely resembled.
