Charming late-19th-century felt wall hanging with german bisque doll head, original mohair wig, and hand-embroidered floral background. The figure represents a small Pierrot holding a paper marked “Journal”. This is used as a decorative wall pocket for papers or magazines.

Original and well-preserved piece with lovely patina. Bisque head perfect, no cracks or repairs.

Measures: 15 1/2 (40cm) high and 9 1/2" (24cm) wide.
France, c. 1890–1900.
