Bisque socket head, blue glass enamel inset eyes,dark eyeliner,painted lashes,feathered brows,accented nostrils and eye corners,closed mouth with very full accented lips,pierced ears,blonde mohair wig in elaborate curls,carton torso,wire upper arms,wooden forearms and hands,cloth upper legs,paper mache lower legs with shaped feet and glued-on original silk slippers.
Condition: generally excellent.
For the luxury French trade,circa 1885,with bisque head by Jumeau. Having especially pretty face and fine bisque,the doll has original Pierrot silk costume with pom-poms,ruffled lace collar,cap,and original attached cording for play,especially beautiful sculpting of hands.
