Bisque socket head with distinctive modeling, very full cheeks, pointy-tip nose, brown glass paperweight inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, rose blushed eye shadow, brush-stroked and feathered brows, closed mouth, shaded and outlined lips, pierced ears, mohair wig over cork pate, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body. Condition: very faint hairline from front crown rim to lefr brow. (this is visible ONLY under the lamp light), body is original and with original finish. Marks: Paris Bebe Tete Depose 9 (red stamp) 9 (incised) Paris Bebe Depose (torso,with Eiffel Tower blue stamp).

]Danel and Cie, circa 1890, the model was made for one or two years only; Anatole Danel, the former manager of the Jumeau firm, established his own firm, creating a bebe model that was nearly identical to the Jumeau bebe. Emile Jumeau successfully sued Danel who was forced to discontinue his bebe. Value Points: very rare bebe due to its short production era, has finest bisque and painting, original signed body,
