Antique French Original Dress for Bebe doll 21-22"

Wonderful tightly-woven blue and white checkered original dress with fitted cuffs, bretelle bands, lace and featherstitch trim. It is closure at the back with 5 pearl buttons and has hand made button holes. Circa 1885, the style dresses typically appeared on early-model bebes, particularly those of Jules Steiner.

Excellent condition to age.

MEASURES - 13" (33 cm) full length, 5 and 1/4" (13.5 cm) shoulders, 13" (33 cm) waist, 6" ( 15 cm) sleeve, 6" (15 cm) armhole. For doll about 21-22" (53-56 cm).
