This photograph was taken by Leon Augagneur / Claude Napoleon Augagneur (1840–1890), a 19th-century French photographer active in Roanne, Loire, France. His studio was located at Place de la Loire, near the bridge. Based on the studio mark, this photograph can most likely be dated to circa 1876-1880s.
