Very unusual, rare and beautiful original french fashion Bonnet Known as A Deux Bonjours. The tightly-woven straw bonnet has a wide brim that is upturned at both the front and the back (hence, the name, meaning two hello's). It has wide brim arranged in unique manner - turned sharply down at the sides, turned upward in front and back in the manner of a saddle. Red wool bands the edges, black velvet decorative bands and ribbons are ornamented with gold looped straw braid.
Good condition to age, some wears silk lining. 1 1/2" (4 cm) inside head width. 4" (10 cm) overall length. I DO A LAYAWAY! Please email me if you have any questions.
