Wonderful and well-detailed and quite handsome with its dark green velvet covering, leather handles and strapping, the bombe sides and multiple steel ornamental buckles on the straps. The interior is covered with rose silk and the bag has a small silk pocket inside. The lid decorated with two paper leaves. The little trunk measures 5 (14 cm) 1/4" long x 2" (5 cm) deep x 2 3/4" (7 cm) high . It is in very good condition. There is only a short tear in one corner of the papered lid. Apart from these issue, this is a charming piece that will look terrific in your doll scenes. Very rare and beautiful french travel original bag from Paris of 1870-80! Don't miss it! I do a layaway.
