Very rare travelling bag for Parisienne french fashion dolls !
Known as sac du voyage in France, or carpet bag in America, the traveling valise was a classic style of the 1860 era.
This rare model of sac du voyage has rectangular - shaped firm base with brown paper and fabric cover with brass studs, the base can be opened separately from the top. The valise has brass clasp and chine strap.
Wonderful travel bag for French Poupee Huret , Rohmer , Barrois , Bru and other early fashion dolls.

France, circa 1860-1870.

Measures - 31/4" (8 cm) length, 2" (5 cm) wide, 4 1/2" (11,5 cm) height included handle.
Condition - Good condition to age, some wearing because age (please look photos).
