This is really museum piece! Very beautiful Embroidered Silk Slippers For Large Doll or Child, rare and great item from 1850's for collectors of early dolls....
This wonderful pair of early 1850's silk child's slippers with hand embroidered of cream, shades of green, pink and yellow silk flowers and leaves, with a delicate silk faille ruffle at the top edge, original white glass buttons and leather soles, they would be a good fit on a large, early papier mache of this period, for other large antique dolls.
Good condition to age and material, but the silk is worn and fragile, but it does not interfere with the floral embroidery. Structurally perfect shoes with good leather soles, silk faille overlay on white canvas.

Measurements:
4.5" (11.5 cm) length, 1.5" (4 cm) width at widest point, about 5.5" (14 cm) ankle circumference.
