Wonderful and very elegant french original dress for fashion doll!
Of lustrous soft dark brown velvet, the one-piece gown features rounded neckline with lace edging, long sleeves, wide skirt with train, decorated with tiny beads at the front, lined with cotton, closure at the front with hook and eye, applique black beads on the lower sleeves and shoulders, silver beads decoration at the front.

French, c.1870.

Tiofit for doll about 17-18" (43-46 cm).
Measures 4 1/2" (11 cm) shoulder width, 8" (20 cm) waist, 5" (13 cm) sleeve, 15 1/4" (39 cm) overall length at the front and 20 1/2" (52 cm) at the back.
Very good condition to age.
