The creamy muslin dress with a printed design of red flowers and leaves, has a curved yoke and bretelles of very narrow knife pleats bordered by lace. The same lace is repeated at the sleeve bands of the pleated pouf sleeves and at the ruffled hem, original sash.
The dress was an exclusive design of the Jumeau firm, this red-flower design appearing on their brown-eyed bebes. The dress was made to fit size 9. Circa 1890.
