A very beautiful white cotton princess-styled jacket dress is constructed constructed pf sewn-together bands of cotton, narrow tucks and brodeire Anglaise featuring cutwork and embroidery, lace trim at the neckline with adjusting with cord, sclaloped edged mancheron short sleeves, a cotton front panel. The dress closure at the front, 4 buttons and button holes on the front side. Border of scalloped-edge broderie Anglaise, decorated with aqua silk ribbon and bows.
The dress has matching muslin white blouse with lace insertion with 2/3 sleeves, closure at the back with pearl buttons.
Excellent condition, fully hand stitched,
France, c.1880.

16" (41cm) length, 8" (20 cm) shoulders, 18" (46 cm) chest, 3 1/4" (8cm) sleeve.
The blouse 7 1/2" (19cm) length, 8" (20 cm) shoulders, 7" (18 cm) sleeve.

Fit for french bebe about 25-26" tall.
