Very beautiful and rare fashion accessory for the Enfantine fashion doll, this wonderful tulle lace and silk fringe shawl is fresh and excellent condition. Each line of soutache was hand sewn onto the net lace base with painstaking accuracy, every curve and line produced with delicate needlework and precision, decorated with silk fringe.

The piece is from the later part of the Enfantine era, between 1860-70. A spectacular early shawl that could have been used as a collar on a dress or around the shoulders of a beloved doll.

Measurements: 6" (15 cm) height and 18" (46cm) length including fringe.
Fit for fashion doll about 17-19" tall

Condition: Excellent. Structurally the piece is, not one hole in the net lace backing.
