Magnificent EARLY Small Pair of French Fashion Doll Boots for your Poupee, circa 1870. A Pristine pair of ANTIQUE boots in rich dark brown leather with silk brown trim at top, red silk laces, leather soles with wooden heels, made in the Huret Manner.
The soles are incised with the "M.G." mark and the size number 1 (French, Gorguet).

The boots with original cotton socks.

The boots are in good, though used condition.

MEASURES: Length 1 3/4" (4.5 cm), Width 1/2" (1,5cm).
the socks 2 1/2" (6.5 cm) in length.

There are for a doll with a narrow, kid foot - likely 15 - 16" tall (38 x 41 cm).
