The walnut arched mirror with pencil-stripe inlay on the frame is supported by fancily carved brackets with hinge allowing the mirror to tilt forward or backward.

Exquisite cheval mirror of exceptional quality - complete with the original diamond dust mirror plate and the original finish and patina. This versatile piece can either stand upon a floor or table top, or note that it folds flat and can then be hung upon the wall from the ring found upon the upper rail of the frame.

Perfectly scaled for display with french fashion poupee or small bebe doll.
Excellent condition. French, circa 1875.

8 1/4" (21 cm) full height and 4 3/4" (12 cm) wide,
the mirror 5 5/8" (14,5 cm) height and 3 1/2" (9 cm) wide.
