Of very narrowly-ribbed pique the ensemble features a hip-length Basque jacket with fitted torso, low rounded neckline, long trumpet-shaped sleeves with cuffs, hook and eye closure with three decorative buttons at the front, dart-shaped back terminated in box-pleats over the hips. With sleeveless dress features flat-front flared skirt having generous box pleats at the back attached overskirt that is constructed with flat-front and very full box-pleated vandyked back. The dress closure at the back with hook and eye, The gown trimmed with very elaborate borders of narrow soutache, zig-zag banding, and ruffled sheer cotton edged with openwork cotton lace.
Excelent condition to age. Measures The dress 10" (25cm) length, 4" (10cm) shoulders, 6" (16cm) waist. The jacket 3 1/2" (9cm) sleeve, 7" (18cm) waist, about 4 1/2" (11.5cm) length.
