Rare Antique German Bisque Doll w/closed mouth,224,by Bahr and Proschild
Solid domed bisque socket head, amber brown glass inset eyes with spiral theards, dark eyeliner,painted lashes,feathered brows,accented nostrils,closed mouth with center accent line, pierced ears, brunette mohair wig,early composition and wooden body.
Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 224 -13.

Rarer closed mouth version of the early German doll made to appeal to the French market,the doll has choicest bisque and painting,original body,and wears superb antique silk costume,undergarments, tulle and ivory ribbons bonnet, aqua leather boots.
