Bisque socket head with elongated facial modeling,very full cheeks, blue glass eyes, thick dark eyeliner, painted dark curly lashes, thick brush-stroked brows with decorative glaze, accented nostrils and eye corners, open mouth, outlined lips, four porcelain teeth, pierced ears, brunette human mohair wig, French composition body with jointing at shoulders and hips.
Condition: generally excellent, small white factory spot in the right cheek.

Marks:DEP 44-28,G.K. (sunburst mark).
Gebruder Kuhnlenz,circa 1890, for french market.

The doll is wearing wonderful an original woolen uniform costume. The blue woolen jacket with off white soutache braid and brass buttons, the woolen red pants have off white silk stripes at the sides , woolen peak-cap, leather belt, sabre, boots with gaiter.
