All-bisque with swivel head,cobalt blue enamel inset eyes,painted lashes and brows,accented nostrils,closed mouth with center accent line,original blonde mohair braided wig,bisque torso,peg-jointed bisque arms and legs,painted white stockings and blue ankle boots. Condition: hairline on the back.
French,circa 1885,the "poupees de poche" (pocket dolls,in reference to their petite size),appeared in Parisian Etrennes catalogs beginning in 1882. Value Points: perfectly-preserved and most beautiful mignonette has original wig,and beautiful antique costume and hat.
