Magnificent EARLY Pair of French Fashion Doll Boots for your Poupee OR for the Doll Clothing Collector, circa 1870. A Pristine pair of ANTIQUE boots in rich dark brown leather with silk trim at top. Original brass buttons (4 for each shoe). Very Shapely style with leather molded heels, made in the Huret Manner.

Size: Length 1 7/8" (4.6cm), Width 5/8" (1,5cm).

The sole marked 1 C.C. (Charles Charpentier) and rare original oval paper boutique label of BOURCIEU. This is french dolls and toy form located at 7 Passage du Grand Cert, PARIS. The name, enclosed within an oval insignia, has been found stamped on the torsos of fashion dolls and accessories. On November 1882 Bourcieu sold his business.
