23" French mechanical clockwork walking, kiss throwing, crying doll w/early German head, 1895

Wonderful bisque socket head, blue glass eyes, open mouth with upper row of teeth, richly painted features, pierced ears, blond human wig, original dress and underwer, original mechanical composition body with internal mechanism and wheeled feet.
When wound from key the doll cries mama, and feet have internal wheels that propels her forward. Clockwork type mechanism insures that a few winds allows for a long period of function.
She is 23" (58 cm.)
Marks: DEP (on head). Maker Unknown, circa 1895.
Condition: excellent condition of bisque, antique costume, body finish mint, mechanism functions well. Very rare patented mechanical doll is in wonderful original condition.
