16" (40 cm.) Bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes, painted lower lashes, brush-stroked brows, accented nostrils, open mouth, row of teeth, pierced ears, mohair wig, French paper mache body with jointing at shoulders and hips, and having rare bisque hands.
Very good condition, costume has some fraility and dustiness. Marks: DEP.
Comments: Jumeau/SFBJ, circa 1900.
Value Points: wearing store-original silk costume comprising long silk officer's coat with soutache trim and epaulets, magenta silk shirt, teal green silk pants, black leather boots, wonderful hat.
