Very elegant small doll! She has hand painted eyes, closed mouth, mohair wig, original silk & lace dress and hat, bent right hand with hat box with inscription MMLE PALMYRE MODES and stuffed cotton stand ,designed that she appear as a full figure. The base is marked MODISTE 1830.
This is in memory of very famous Mlle. Palmyre, dress-maker to Queen Marie-Amelie of c.1830.
Rare All original doll with wonderful accessory!

She is 7" (18cm) tall without the hat and 8" (20 cm) including hat.
