A bisque head man and woman in original costumes are posed as though waltzing, each with bisque head, brown glass eyes, painted features, open mouth, tiny teeth, white mohair wig; she with carton floor-length cone-shaped skirt which encloses mechanism, wire upper arms, metal hands and feet.
When wound, the couple revolve around as though dancing. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: O.F. Sonneberg, circa 1880. Well-preserved mechanical toy is in fine original condition, wearing original costumes in folklore style. 10" (25 cm.) height ------------------------------------ I DO A LAYAWAY.
